The WIPO Green Technology Book is a compilation of proven technologies and latest innovations from the WIPO GREEN database. All solutions in the book are linked to the database where technology providers can be contacted. Technologies in the book and many more have their special collection in the database. There are two editions of the Green Technology Book: on climate change adaptation technology released in November 2022, and on climate change mitigation technologies released in December 2023. The books cover selected sectors as can be seen on this page.

The Green Technology Book has had more than a million visitors in 2023 and the full book has been downloaded 26.000 times. Through the database and this collection, it is a live publication and you can contribute by submitting your solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions or for adapting to climate change by uploading to the WIPO GREEN database. If it is relevant for the sectors in the Green Technology Book, we will then also add it to the Green Technology Book collection.

The WIPO Green Technology Book serves as a platform for disseminating knowledge and encouraging collaboration between various stakeholders in the climate technology field.
